What is the average time from receiving a call to the appliances actually leaving station at the Fire Service?

Response

2016 - average time of receiving call to mobilizing Fire and Rescue Service (FRS) resource – 5 minutes 1 second

2017 - average time of receiving call to mobilizing FRS resource – 4 minutes 41 seconds

From the time of the initial call information pertaining to the incident is gathered and processed on the control room call management system. Upon completion, the most suitable asset is allocated and despatched.

Response times are monitored to ensure continued performance and, where possible, improvement.
