Request
A
Are there any statistics for how many States Members (outside of St Helier) regularly use Public Transport when attending States sittings, broken down by Parish?
While a member may occasionally need to use a car, I'm trying to ascertain the general use of public transport aside from exceptions.
B
How many States members park at Snow Hill (and are issued permits to do so)?
C
How many civil servants have reserved spaces in St Helier for parking? Are these paid spaces?
Response
A and B
Individual States members are themselves not covered by the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 and do therefore not have any obligations under the Law and are not listed as a scheduled public authority.
The States Greffe does not hold information on the use of public transport by States members or on the use of Snow Hill car park by States members. However, the States Greffe does hold information on the number of parking permits issued to States members. At the time this response was published, 44 such permits had been issued.
