Please may I request the consultants report in to the Jersey Reds rugby Club (2018).
The report which lead to the 150k loan from the States of Jersey to a private club including;
A
The consultants name.
B
The Minister who signed off the loan.
C
The terms and conditions of the loan.
Response
The report is considered exempt under Article 33 (Commercial Interests) of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 on the grounds that it contains confidential information which, if released, could harm the commercial interests of an organisation.
The States of Jersey have not made a loan to Jersey Reds. Additional funding has been made available from Contingency for the Growth, Housing and Environment Department, for the purpose of making a grant to Jersey Reds. That funding allocation was approved by the Minister for Treasury and Resources.
