Please provide details for the amount and the nature of all formal complaints to Development Control (Planning Compliance), Natural Environment and Public Health (including to these department's previous titles) - regarding McQuaig’s Quarry, La Rue de la Porte, St. John since records began.

Response

Two complainants contacted the Planning Compliance Team on various occasions between 2008 and 2015 in relation to McQuaig’s Quarry.

The complaints related to the unauthorised use of the site in relation to skips and sorting waste, as well as associated noise and traffic disruption issues.

In 1994 a complaint was received by the Environmental Protection Team relating to water pollution, resulting in a surface water stream being impacted by mixing concrete.

In 2019 a complaint was received by the Environmental Protection Team in relation to the burning of waste on an open air bonfire.
