Has there ever been a Ministerial Decision taken to freeze the Health Insurance benefit paid to the Pharmacists and Doctors, if so what date, and how much in each case?
Response
The date of the last Ministerial Decision regarding the professional fees paid to Pharmacists was 27 August 2014 where a fee of £3.51 was set for each of the first 50,000 items per annum and £3.13 paid per item per annum thereafter.
The rate of Medical Benefit is provided by the Health Insurance (Medical Benefit) (Jersey) Regulation and is not modified by Ministerial decision.
