For the academic year 2020/21, please can you provide the total number of Covid cases reported for each academic year group vs the number of students registered in each year group during the year.

For the academic year 2021/22, please can you provide the total number of Covid cases reported for each academic year group vs the number of students registered in each year group during the year.

Information for the academic year 2020/21 is not held in this format, therefore Article 3 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 applies.

The table below represents the total number of Covid cases reported for each year group for the academic year 2021/2022. This shows numbers in schools only and excludes Highlands College and private nurseries. Some children may have tested positive on more than one occasion therefore the case count shows the number of confirmed positive tests rather than the number of children.

For the purposes of this Law, information is held by a public authority if –

(a) it is held by the authority, otherwise than on behalf of another person; or

(b) it is held by another person on behalf of the authority.
