On 4 June 2021, the Harvard Business Review published an article entitled "How one British isle persuaded its citizens to get vaccinated", written by the then head of the vaccination team Becky Sherrington and Steve Martin:

How One British Isle Persuaded Its Citizens to Get Vaccinated (hbr.org)

Please confirm which organisation or organisations the Government of Jersey employed to conduct this campaign, and how much it cost the taxpayer?

Response

All of the COVID-19 vaccination campaigns have been, and continue to be, developed in-house by the Government of Jersey Communications Directorate. This particular campaign ran from January 2021 to October 2021.

The total cost of the paid-for advertising activity (any spend that is associated with the placement of advertising on relevant platforms) over these ten months was approximately £5,200 per month. This advertising activity was intended to build important awareness of the vaccination offer and to ensure that maximum uptake and subsequent protection against COVID-19 was achieved.

As at 31 October 2021, more than 172,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine had been administered in Jersey.
