Response

A.

Professor Peter Bradley is the current Medical Officer of Health (‘MOH’).

B.

The Medical Officer of Health role is established under Article 10 of the Loi (1934) sur la Santé Publique.  Since the role was established in this 1934 Law, no changes to the Government of Jersey’s structure have impacted on the MOH’s ability to speak independently to media about public health concerns or not.

C.
