Hospital-based Clinical Nurse Specialist

Jersey Hospice Care is looking for a Clinical Nurse Specialist, who will be based in Jersey General Hospital, on a permanent basis.

They will hold a 1st level Adult Registered Nurse qualification (1st Degree/Diploma) with current?registration on part one of the NMC register. A Palliative Care award/qualification is required as well as evidence of working toward a post graduate Palliative Care qualification. They will have significant post registration experience of working with patients in a palliative care setting and excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate difficult and sensitive information. They must also demonstrate commitment to complete a non-medical prescribing qualification. They will be able to work independently and flexibly responding to changing situations.
