External Description
Five bay cement rendered building with slate roof. Gabled south front with crocketed pinnacles above corner buttresses. Gothic-arched windows with hood moulds. Central louvered roundel in gable above inscription 'Chapelle Wesleyenne 1850'. Gabled south porch with gothic door and blind windows, all with drip mouldings, a roundel above the door and octagonal turrets at the corners. Gothic arched windows to sides - mostly filled with c1950s glass bricks. Two northern-most windows with early twentieth-century leaded windows with stylised stained glass panels. The interior has south gallery, pews of c1900, painted reredos with painted texts in French donated in 1902, pulpit and communion rail of 1944. Complete and coherent group comprises three-bay manse with sashes to south front, with stone wall and iron railings to the area fronting manse and chapel. 1891 Sunday school / church hall to rear (north) of five bays, rendered, with a gabled slate roof. It has cornices supported on console brackets above the side windows and console brackets supporting the shoulder stones of the gables. There is a small gabled porch against the east gable.
