How you can recycle books and catalogues

Your books and catalogues must be dry before you can recycle them.

Hardbacks need the cover removed and put into the cardboard recycling and the paper pages can be put in the paper recycling.

Paperbacks can be recycled:

  • in your parish paper recycling collection (if applicable)
  • at Mini Recycling Centres
  • at La Collette Household Reuse and Recycling Centre

  • charity shops often accept books
