Statement from the Department for Children, Young People, Education and Skills.

Jersey College Prep:
We have been advised that a student who attends Jersey College Prep has tested positive for Covid-19 on 1 December 2020. 

This student is currently isolating at home, along with the rest of their household 
following the public health guidance.

The school has contacted parents and the class bubble were sent home and asked to isolate at home, as a precautionary measure, to allow the track and trace process to be completed.

To protect the identity of this student and respect the family’s privacy, we will not be commenting further.

Le Rocquier School:
We have been advised that a student who attends Le Rocquier School has tested positive for Covid-19 on 1 December 2020. 
 
This student is currently isolating at home, along with the rest of their household following the public health guidance.

The school has contacted parents and the year group has been sent home and asked to stay at home tomorrow, as a precautionary measure, to allow the track and trace process to be completed.

The school will be deep cleaned and remain open following advice from Environmental and Public Health.
 
To protect the identity of this student and respect the family’s privacy, we will not be commenting further.

Haute Vallée School
“We have been advised that a student who attends Haute Vallée School has tested positive for Covid-19. 
 
This student is currently isolating at home, along with the rest of their household following the public health guidance.

The school has contacted parents and the year group has been asked to stay at home tomorrow, as a precautionary measure, to allow the track and trace process to be completed.

De La Salle Primary School

“We have been advised that a student who attends De La Salle Primary School has tested positive for Covid-19. 
 
This student is currently isolating at home, along with the rest of their household following the public health guidance.
