The hub also responds to any safeguarding concerns you may have for a child or young person.

Speak to a practitioner who is currently supporting you, your child or family
Any practitioner who is working with you, your child or family will be happy to advise you. This could be your child’s school or early year’s setting, your Health Visitor, GP or the Youth Service.

We have a skilled and experienced team. The team member answering the phone may be able to answer your query immediately or they may take your number and pass your query onto a team member with the right expertise who will call you back.

Other support for children and young people
The YES Project
The YES project provides information, advice and counselling for young people up to 25 years. They are available from 12pm to 8pm. You can call their free helpline +44 (0) 800 7350010 or
email the Youth Enquiry Service.
Childline has lots of helpful information for children and young people. They are available between 9am and 12am (midnight). You can call them free on 0800 1111.
Information for practitioners
Practitioners are able to submit a referral for a child, young person or family by completing the
online Practitioner's Request Form.
