Recycling: trees

How you can recycle trees

Real trees can be brought to the Household Green Waste Reception at La Collette, they are shredded and recycled into soil improver.

Make sure you have removed any lights, decorations, pots or stands before before you recycle them.

If you have a plastic or artificial tree you can put it in the bulky waste container at the Household Reuse and Recycling Centre, they are usually made from a combination of materials that mean they cannot be recycled.
