Recycling: curtains and cushions

How you can recycle curtains and cushions

Clean cushions and curtains can be put in any of the Salvation Army textile recycling banks.  There is a textile recycling bank at the Household Reuse and Recycling Centre.

If you cannot recycle your items, put them in your general rubbish or bring them to the Household Reuse and Recycling Centre and put them in the kitchen waste container.

Where you can dispose of curtains and cushions

How you can reuse curtains and cushions

Cushions and curtains in good condition can be given to the Acorn Reuse Centre at the Household Reuse and Recycling Centre, La Collette.

Good to know

The Salvation Army use shredded materials to fill mattresses and car seats, so it doesn't matter if they are ripped or have holes in.
