Recycling: mattresses

How you can recycle mattresses

​Take old, soiled or dirty mattresses to the Household Reuse and Recycling Centre and dispose of them in the bulky waste container.

Bedsteads, bedframes, futons and headboards may be able to be recycled, depending what they are made of. Ask a member of staff at the Household Reuse and Recycle Centre for advice.
