How you can recycle saucepans

  • remove any wooden or plastic handles if you can
  • make sure the pans are clean before disposing of them
  • metal pans can be recycled at the Household Reuse and Recycling Centre in the metals container

How you can reuse saucepans

  • saucepans can be used for outdoor cooking and camping if they become too old to use in the kitchen
  • coated copper cookware can be relined with a protective layer to give it new life
  • the Acorn Reuse Centre at the Household Reuse and Recycling Centre will take good quality used saucepans

Good to know

  • antique or good quality pans may be able to be refurbished to look like new
