Recycling: wallpaper


  • put clean, unused wallpaper with your normal paper recycling
  • metal-backed, insulated or foil wallpapers cannot be recycled and should be put in your household rubbish or in the kitchen waste container at the Household Reuse and Recycling Centre
  • if wallpaper has been used or has been glued, put it in your general household waste or in the kitchen waste container at the Household Reuse and Recycling Centre

How you can recycle wallpaper

​Clean, unused wallpaper with no glue can be recycled along with your other paper at the Household Reuse and Recycling Centre, in the paper recycling banks at the mini recycling centres or in your parish household recycling collection, if your parish provides this service.
