How you can recycle building materials

​There are different containers for disposing of building materials:

  • plasterboard
  • bulky wood waste
  • metal
  • hardcore and rubble, for example, ceramics, slate and tiles (no metals, plasterboard, plastics or soil)
  • non-recyclable hardcore and rubble, for example, rock, concrete, brick, asphalt, gravel and sand (no ceramics, metals, plasterboard, slate, plastics, tiles or soil)

Depending on your item and its condition it may be suitable for reuse and could be donated to charity shops or sold.
