​​You can take carpet pieces in good condition to charity shops.

You could also use carpet cut offs for:

  • insulation for your home compost
  • keeping weeds at bay on vegetable plots and on paths
  • Making mulch with wool rich carpets
  • protection for your car windscreen when it's frosty
