How you can recycle clothes

​​Put your clothes in bags to keep them dry and put them in the Salvation Army textile recycling banks.

There's also a mixed textiles recycling bank at La Collette and many parishes have mini-recycling centres that accept textiles.

  • ​take part in one of the many car boot sales around the Island where you can sell clothes in good condition for reuse
  • donate clothes in good condition to local charities
  • before you recycle school uniform, check if your school has a second hand scheme
