Fishing incident

The Commodore Goodwill and the fishing boat L’Ecume II collided at 05:30 on Thursday 8 December. L’Ecume II sank with the loss of the three crew: the skipper Michael Michieli and Jervis Ramirez Baligat and Larry Simyunn.

Bailiff's Island Appeal

The Bailiff's Island Appeal has been established to support those people who have been affected by the incident or the Pier Road incident on Saturday 10 December 2022.

The appeal has been established to enable anyone who would like to donate financially to do so. It has been established, and will be overseen, by the Bailiff, Sir Timothy Le Cocq, in consultation with the Chief Minister, Deputy Kristina Moore.

Donations can be made until Friday 23 December 2022.
