Waste Application to vary a Waste Management Licence, Abbey Waste Ltd

About the consultation

The Minister for the Environment has received an application to vary a waste management licence. (reference WML009).

This is a consultation made under the Waste Management (Jersey) Law, 2005. 

If granted, the licence will increase the size of the site used for recycling to include 7, La Rue Grellier, St Saviour, JE2 7QS.

Planning permission (P/2025/093) was granted on 8 May 2025.

How to submit comments to the consultation

​Any person who wishes to comment on the application should do so in writing to the Minister at the address below.

The Minister will provide the applicant with copies of all comments. The applicant may respond to these comments by writing to the Minister within 14 days of receipt of the copies. 

No decisions will be made by the Minister until the time limits for making comments have elapsed.
