About the consultation

​We want to know your views on updating the Rural Economy Strategy (RES), which will set the direction for the Island's rural economy and countryside for the next 5 years and beyond.

The white paper has been developed following consideration of responses to the Rural Economy green paper, which included comments from representatives from the rural sector and the wider public.

The consultation follows the same structure as the green paper.

How to submit comments to the consultation

Officers of the Ecomomic Development and Planning and Environment Departments will be holding open door sessions, by appointment, at Howard Davis Farm to provide more information, answer questions and accept feedback.
