Family history research
We hold all birth, adoption, stillbirth, death and marriage records in Jersey from 1842 to present day. And all civil partnership records from 2012 to present day.
The majority of these records are public documents available to everyone.
How to carry out research
There are 2 ways you can carry out research:
- view the records for free by visiting us during public opening hours, our staff are available for any advice or assistance you may need
- apply online so we can carry out research for you and produce certified copy certificates. This costs £30.75 per hour and the certificate costs £30.75
