The Ministry of External Relations is leading the government’s efforts to build Jersey’s relationships with non-EU countries worldwide. Our work is mainly in sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, China and India.
The Ministry has built a dedicated team, which is already working to strengthen our links with countries in a range of ways, including political, commercial, cultural and educational cooperation.
We have developed a Global Markets Strategy which the Council of Ministers initially approved in September 2017.
