Jersey Field Squadron

Jersey Field Squadron background and recent postings

Parish and Island militias gave service to the Crown until 1945, when the unit was disbanded. The Royal Militia reformed as the Jersey Field Squadron in 1988.

  • is involved locally in community projects
  • supports the civil power in homeland resilience and emergencies when needed

Field Squadron members have supported operations in:

  • Afghanistan
  • Cyprus
  • Estonia

They continue to support the Regular Army with recent deployments to Belize and UK exercises.
