The Health and Safety Inspectorate (HSI) have published new guidance on the control of risks to workers and the public from major accident hazard sites in Jersey.
The new guidance will be of interest to:
- major hazard site operators
- surrounding businesses
- emergency responders
The guidance outlines the requirements under Health and Safety at Work (Jersey) Law and the relevant standards that apply in Jersey: the Control of Major Accident Hazards Regulations 2015 (COMAH) and the Management of Health and Safety at Work: Approved Code of Practice.
