Health and Safety Inspectorate Annual Report 2022

​​The annual report summarises the work of the Inspectorate, providing information on our performance and presents statistical data on claims for sickness benefit due to work-related accidents and ill-health during 2022.

The drafting and publication of this report has been significantly delayed due to the operational capacity of the Inspectorate being significantly impacted by retirements resulting in only 25% Inspector resource by the end of 2022. The resource situation was further compounded by the tragic events at Haut de Mont which has been the focus of a complex and ongoing investigation in conjunction with the States of Jersey Police.
