The States of Jersey have already completed or started work on 35 of the 43 headline actions recommended by the Independent Jersey Care Inquiry (IJCI). (30 January 2018)
Over half of the actions are already being worked on
Jersey’s Chief Minister, Ian Gorst, released a report to the States of Jersey in October 2017, which marks the first phase of the government’s plans to implement the inquiry’s recommendations.
It outlined, in detail, that work had already started on 28 of the 43 actions arising from the Independent Jersey Care Inquiry and two had already been completed.
