People Services provides HR services across the Jersey Public Service.
We support everyone working in the Government of Jersey with HR advice, guidance and services to help them do their job well.

Our teams
People Services is made up of the following teams.
People Operations
People Operations delivers HR services that meet each department’s needs.
They:
- resolve cases
- support restorative practice
- give trusted advice on people matters
- work on strategic projects that shape the experience of colleagues across the organisation
Recruitment, Resourcing and Talent
Our recruitment team manages the hiring and onboarding of talent.
They support hiring managers and new starters by:
- providing recruitment support
- coordinating onboarding
- issuing employment contracts
Our resourcing and talent team develop campaigns and strategies that attract diverse and skilled people who are dedicated to making a real difference.
Employee Relations, Reward and Experience
Our Employee Relations, Reward, and Experience team helps:
- shape Codes of Conduct and People Policies
- ensure fair employment terms
- lead pay negotiations
- manage key Trade Union relationships
They also handle role evaluations, complex employment issues and legal risks, including investigations and tribunals.
Organisation Development
Our Organisation Development team helps create a supportive, inclusive and effective workplace.
They:
- use tailored interventions
- support strategic workforce planning
- run learning and development programmes
- lead on diversity, equity and inclusion
Systems, Services and Governance
The Services and Governance team:
- improves HR systems
- provides data insights
- oversees governance and strategy
They support business continuity, manage payroll, look after soft facilities and manage key worker housing to keep our workplace safe and efficient.
Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Wellbeing
Our Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Wellbeing team champions the safety and wellbeing of every employee.
They lead initiatives that ensure a safe, supportive workplace, including:
- working on health and safety protocols
- occupational health initiatives
- employee wellness programmes that show we truly care about our people
