Prosecutions since the previous Freedom of Information publication are listed below. All those prosecuted are motorists.

There have been no recorded offences of riding a cycle dangerously in the past five years.

In February 2014, video evidence was presented to police by a cyclist who claimed a motorist drove in a dangerous manner whilst overtaking a group of four cycles. There was insufficient evidence to prosecute the motorist for dangerous driving however; he received a caution at the Parish Hall for driving without due care and attention.

One of the prosecutions listed above (written caution) involved the use of CCTV from Liberty Bus to show a driver caused a cyclist to fall from the bicycle although no contact was made.

There have been no prosecutions of cyclists where the evidence was provided by camera.

Police are currently investigating evidence from a vehicle dashboard camera involving an allegation against the rider of a motorcycle.
