Authored by States of Jersey and published on 10 November 2016.

Request

A

Can you please provide the percentage of female public sector employees by department in each of the following annual salary bands:

a. Under 50,000

b. 50,000 to 100,000

c. Over 100,000

B

Please provide the percentage of female employees in each civil service pay grade from 1 to 15.

Response

A

Due to some departments having fewer than 10 female staff in certain pay bands, we are unable to provide a breakdown by department, in the pay bands requested, as this would risk the identification of individuals and, as such Article 25 of the Freedom of Information (jersey) Law has been applied to part of this response.

However, by combining some departments and the £50,000 to £100,000 and over £100,000 bands we are able to provide the table below, which shows the percentage of female public sector employees, by department, as of 30 September 2016. The percentage is based on FTE (full time equivalent) figures which are also included in the table.
