Please confirm if there are any agreements that have been signed between the States of Jersey and the Jersey Development Company, and or anybody else for the purchase of any part of St Saviours Hospital, either side of the main road that runs between the North and the South of this site.

Response

Standing Order 168 (SO168) is the only authoritative mechanism for the Government of Jersey to reach a binding agreement over any property transaction.

There have been no transactions recorded under SO168 for any element of the St Saviour’s Hospital site on either side of Route de la Hougue Bie, therefore, both parts of the St Saviour’s Hospital site remain in the ownership of the Public of the Island.
