Please provide the requests made by the governing bodies / Heads of Victoria College and Jersey College for Girls, VCP and JCP to the education minister for increase in fees for the past three years and the reasoning behind such requests.

Response

The fee increases for fee-paying provided schools that were approved by the Minister for Education are listed in the published Ministerial Decisions. The annual increases are the only formal requests and were approved in order to meet anticipated costs. On 6 May 2020 the Minister for Education agreed to rescind the previously made decision to increase the fees from September 2020.

Academic Year 2017 / 2018:
