I would like to know how much of the £900,000 that was added to the private schools hardship fund has been spent.

Response

As of July 2020 the following funds have been assigned to be paid to the fee-paying schools shown in the table below. Beaulieu Convent Primary and Secondary is the only private school listed. The figures below represent the first of two tranches of funding. The remaining 50% will be provided upon evidence that the first tranche has been effectively depleted. Any surplus funds will be repaid to the Department by December 2020, therefore the final expenditure will not be known until after this date. Schools have until 31 October 2020 to apply for the COVID-19 Hardship Funding.
