Please provide a table showing the number of working days lost due to absences (for any reason) in Jersey’s Health and Community Services department during the following months:

March 2019, April 2019, May 2019, June 2019, July 2019, August 2019

March 2020, April 2020, May 2020, June 2020, July 2020, August 2020

For each month, please also provide:

  • figures showing a breakdown of the reasons given for those absences (eg sickness, stress, isolating, other etc)

  • The working days lost as a percentage of the total number of available working days

  • The total number of staff contracted to the department

The information below relates to sickness only. Information in respect of all other absences is not held in a format that would enable it to be provided as requested.

Table 1 –The headcount for each month and the days lost through sickness as a percentage of the total number of available working days for the requested months in 2019 and 2020. Please refer to Table 2 for the total sickness days lost.
