Please state for the years below the number of high value residency licences (either under regulation 1(1)(k) of the old regulations or 2(1)(e) of the current regulations) granted by the Chief Minister:

2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 (to September of 2015)

Response

The granting of in principle approvals under Regulation 1(1) (k) of the former Housing (General Provisions) (Jersey) Regulations 1970 was the responsibility of the minister for housing, whilst the granting of comparable in principle approvals under Regulation 2(1) (e) of the Control of Housing and Work (Residential and Employment Status) (Jersey) Regulations 2013, which came into effect on 1 July 2013, is the responsibility of the Chief Minister.
