What are the total monies paid to the treasury by Andium Homes that are derived from social housing income?
Does ample provision of social housing exist in the island for the current social housing need?
What is the total sums of monies being paid by local customer services to tenants within private housing who would qualify for social housing?
Andium Homes have an agreement to pay an Annual Return to the Minister for Treasury and Resources, the amounts paid for the last five years are as follows:
How Andium source the funds for these payments is an operational matter for the company. Andium Homes are a Scheduled Public Authority under the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011, if the requestor requires further details we would suggest that a request is made to the company directly.
Affordable Housing Gateway at Customer and Local Services does not hold this information. Supply of social housing is managed by the housing providers.
Following an extensive review of systems, it has been concluded that the information, as requested, is not held in recorded form. To answer the request, the data would need to be extracted from various sources and manipulated, aside from taking more than the prescribed 12.5 hours to do that work, the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 does not require a Scheduled Public Authority to manipulate data in order to provide a response. Article 16 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 has therefore been applied.
Article 16 - A scheduled public authority may refuse to supply information if cost excessive
(1) A scheduled public authority that has been requested to supply information may refuse to supply the information if it estimates that the cost of doing so would exceed an amount determined in the manner prescribed by Regulations
Article 10 - Obligation of scheduled public authority to confirm or deny holding information
(1) Subject to paragraph (2), if –
(a) a person makes a request for information to a scheduled public authority; and
(b) the authority does not hold the information,
it must inform the applicant accordingly.
