Grants given to the International Air Display (FOI)

Grants given to the International Air Display (FOI)

Prepared internally, no external costs.

I was wondering how much taxpayers money was used for the air display of military aircraft held on the 9 of September 2021. I would also appreciate any justification for such spending.

I would also like to know if any Government owned companies (such as JT and Jersey electricity) donated to the Air Display and if so who and how much.

As at 17 September 2021, no public money has been paid in connection with the attendance and / or display of military aircraft at the Jersey International Air Display held on 9 September 2021.

A grant agreement was made between the Government of Jersey and Ports of Jersey Limited for a provision of up to £100K.

The total sum to be claimed by the Ports of Jersey under the grant agreement will be confirmed during Q4 of 2021.

This information is not held by Government of Jersey, therefore Article 3 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 applies. Ports of Jersey may be contacted separately to provide further information.
