How many electric vehicle charging points have been put in new States new builds over the last three years?

And, how many have you insisted upon in privately developed builds in the same time period?

A

Two electric vehicle charging points have been installed as part of Government of Jersey (GOJ) new builds during the period requested, both of which are located at the new Les Quennevais school site.

Vehicle charging units have also been added to some of GOJ's existing sites but a central register is not maintained.

The inclusion of electric charging points is not a Bye-law requirement at this time; however, it is possible that it may be included in the next update of technical guidance.
