Government of Jersey organisational structure charts (FOI)
Government of Jersey organisational structure charts (FOI)Produced by the Freedom of Information office
Authored by Government of Jersey and published on 18 March 2022.
Prepared internally, no external costs.
Please inform about The Government of Jersey structure.
I would like to see a full organisation chart, including the names of each Department (IHE, HCS etc.), then each Office within that, team within that etc. in as much detail as you have.
So, for example IHE is formed of Infrastructure, Housing and Environment Offices then in Infrastructure there is Roads Team, Sewage Team etc., then within that there might be Maintenance, Projects etc. and please highlight the Minister(s) responsible for each lowest level team.
It is not important if it is not in one chart, but please attach each document directly (not to be found deep within some report).
Information relating to the responsibilities of members of the Council of Ministers is as follows:
Council of Ministers (gov.je)
Ministerial Responsibilities: Ministers and Assistant Ministers (statesassembly.gov.je)
Information relating to the structure of the government and its departments is publicly available on www.gov.je.
One Government Structure Diagram - February 2022 (gov.je)
Information relating to the structure of individual departments is included in the "Our Department Structure" section of each Departmental Operational Business Plan:
Departmental Operational Business Plans 2022 (gov.je)
In addition, in the 2022 Government Plan, the States Assembly agreed to the creation of a Department for External Relations, which is currently being progressed.
As the information requested is publicly available, Article 23 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 has been applied.
