Following on from FOI question: Lodging houses (FOI)​ - published on 20 July 2020 and FOI question: Registration of lodging houses (FOI) - published on 01 April 2021, (both answered), can you advise as follows:

A

On the 01 March 2022, how many lodging houses held a Registration Certificate issued under the Lodging Houses (Registration) (Jersey) Law 1962 and its associated subordinate legislation?

On 01 March 2022, what was the total number of units of accommodation that was available in Jersey's lodging houses that held a Registration Certificate under the Lodging Houses (Registration) (Jersey) Law 1962 and its associated subordinate legislation?

C

On 01 March 2022, what was the total number of registered bed spaces in Jersey's lodging houses that held a Registration Certificate under the Lodging Houses (Registration) (Jersey) Law 1962 and its associated subordinate legislation for (i) adults, (ii) children under 18 and (iii) children under 5 years of age?"

On the 01 March 2022, 221 lodging houses held a Registration Certificate issued under the Lodging Houses (Registration) (Jersey) Law 1962 and its associated subordinate legislation.

B

On 01 March 2022, the total number of units of accommodation that was available in Jersey's lodging houses that held a Registration Certificate under the Lodging Houses (Registration) (Jersey) Law 1962, and its associated subordinate legislation was 1,999.

C

On 01 March 2022, the total number of registered bed spaces in Jersey's lodging houses that held a Registration Certificate under the Lodging Houses (Registration) (Jersey) Law 1962, and its associated subordinate legislation was 4,882, broken down as follows:

(i) Adults – 3,745

(ii) Children under 18 years of age - 894

(iii) Children under 5 years of age - 243
