How many applications are currently 'pending' in the planning department?

If all were approved immediately, how many units of residential accommodation would become available for islanders to buy or rent?

How many would be flats and houses, broken down by bedrooms per unit?

How long does the department think it will take to free up this backlog before being able to deal with new applications in a timely and acceptable fashion?

A search can be carried out on the planning register linked below in relation to pending applications by selecting the relevant choices from the drop-down menus. Therefore, Article 23 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 has been applied.
