How much was the special needs budget for each of the states primary school for the last five years.

Please provide a breakdown of how the budget was spent for each of the schools.

What process is in place for deciding how the budget is spent and how this is managed and regulated.

Funding is calculated using the school context, the academic profile and attainment in reception year, and the deprivation levels within the vingtaines of the cohort.

It is provided to schools by the Education Department by calendar year. Schools allocate budgets throughout the year in order to respond to changing needs of students.

Where there is overspend shown, funding is taken from existing school budgets.

There is no funding allocation provided to Jersey College for Girls and Victoria College Preparatory Schools.

The Education Department are unable to provide budget spend within each primary school for 2016 as the calendar year has just begun.

Support includes teachers, teaching assistants and SENCOs who support SEN within the school.
Resources include courses and training for teachers and teaching assistants.

Other includes reviews, interventions, assistive technology equipment and Record of Need cover.
