The following information should be noted:
Lower income in 2020 and 2021: Refunds and discounted memberships were given due to the Covid pandemic and lockdown. Staff were kept on full time as the Fort was kept open, although operations were ceased for a period. Staff were still paid during lockdown.
Higher income in 2022: operations returned to normal, discounts were rescinded and income climbed back to expected levels.
Lower Staff costs from 2022: Oakfield was due to be opened and functional and after a restructure, staff were redeployed to other areas of Sport. Due to reduced activity and operational hours in the centre, fewer staff were needed to operate.
Lower Income from 2023: The income associated with the Active Gym and Fitness activities moved to Springfield.
