I am emailing concerning some details I would like to know about the States of Jersey. Could you please either point me in the right direction of finding the details, or send me the information for the following:

1. Total number of employees
2. How many offices the council work from

Clarification request of question 2

The department dealing with your request has asked if you would clarify your meaning of ‘offices’ in part 2 of your question. The States of Jersey has many ‘offices’, for example, school secretaries will have an office within a school.

2. How many buildings does the council work from?

Response

1.  As at the end of July 2016, there were 6,001.5 full-time equivalent (FTE) permanent and fixed-term roles working within the States of Jersey. This equates to 6,782 people allowing for part-time and job share.

2. We do not hold this information in a format that is accessible without exceeding the 12.5 hour work limit.
