Please can you tell me how much the States of Jersey Police Force have spent on translators?

Response

The States of Jersey Police uses the services of an international translating service called ‘Big Word’.

This company provides access to translators over the telephone and a written translation service for transcribing documents such as interviews and statements.

For the years 2013 to 2016, the split between telephone and written translations are shown in the table below. The 2016 figure is up to 6 September 2016.
