Join the Building Healthy Relationships Programme

About the programme

The Building Healthy Relationships Programme is a domestic abuse programme delivered by the Probation and After-Care Service.

It's for any adult who has behaved abusively towards their current or previous partners and want to change their behaviour.

The programme used to be called Jersey Domestic Abuse Programme (JDAP).

We focus on your strength and provide you skills you can use to make positive choices in your relationships and keep everyone safe.

The program has 8 modules. A Probation Officer will meet with you to prepare your plan. They’ll tell you which modules you’ll need to do depending on your circumstances.

The modules are delivered by Probation staff. You do not have to be subject to criminal proceedings or Probation supervision to take part.

To keep everyone safe and help you complete the programme effectively we work with other agencies such as:

  • Jersey Domestic Abuse Support (JDAS)
  • Children’s Service
  • Police
  • Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC)
  • other safeguarding agencies where necessary

Support will be provided to your current partner, children, or previous partners to make sure they are safe, informed and their experiences and needs stay at the core of your plan.
