Summary
Alongside H.E. Johnston Busingye, High Commissioner of the Republic of Rwanda to the Court of St James’s, the Minister for External Relations, Deputy Ian Gorst, signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Mutual Cooperation in Jersey on 7th May 2024.
The objective of this MOU is to enhance the bilateral relationship between Rwanda and Jersey by identifying and progressing opportunities for mutual cooperation and benefit across a broad range of priority areas. Such areas include, but are not limited to, proposed collaboration in relation to trade and investment, education and skills, culture, heritage, gender equality and inclusion, and climate adaptation.
